Emily Hildebrand, L.Ac.
Emily graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2009 and founded a practice in Chicago specializing in reproductive health and fertility. While there, she met Ben, her husband and fellow acupuncturist at Greenfield Community Acupuncture. Together, they moved to the Pioneer Valley and joined GCA in 2017, taking over for founder Karen Adams. Emily is committed to the principles of community acupuncture and affordable healthcare, and is thrilled to have found her professional home at GCA.
She is a trained postpartum doula and has pursued post-graduate training in classical East Asian herbal medicine with Sharon Weizenbaum and Dr. Arnaud Versluys. She is dedicated to gender inclusive care and specializes in reproductive health and menopause.
Ben Walker, L.Ac.
Ben has a background in sustainable agriculture and beekeeping, which along with an interest in wild edible and medicinal plants, eventually led him to study traditional Western herbalism Minneapolis with teachers Lise Wolff and Matthew Wood. Around this time he met Emily, who had just opened her Chicago practice, and his interest in Classical Chinese medicine was piqued. He graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2014, and undertook extensive post-graduate training and clinical observation hours with Dr. Arnaud Versluys and Stephen Bonzak of the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine.
His clinical strengths include herbal medicine and orthopedic acupuncture, with a particular emphasis on digestive disorders, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, reproductive health, and musculo-skeletal pain.
